Calumet Trailhead
We are in the process of building a new trail head. It is located at the new Snowmobile maintenance facility. On trail B (17) next to the historic Calumet trestle. Keweenaw Snowmobile Club proposal for designation of the trail head has been approved. That is be good news. Next steps are applying for funding. We already received some outside grants for this projects. So we just need to do some finishing touches. You can park and ride from this trail head. There is no overnight parking, sorry. Big thank you to Keweenaw Snowmobile club for all the hard work you have put into this and being a partner in this project. More updates to come soon.
