Please remember that the High Rock Bay trail will be closed to all traffic. Sept 8-12, 2025. The installation of a large culvert on Union Creek where it crosses High rock Bay Road, will temporarily result in a road closure.
The closure will be from the intersection of Mandan and High rock Bay roads in Keweenaw County(T58N, R27W, Section 8) and continue for just over a half-mile northeast on the High rock Bay Road to just past the project site.
No vehicular traffic will be able to access High Rock Bay or the north side of Schlatter lake during this closure period. Please respect this closure. Stay off the trail, for your safety, and the safety of the construction workers.
